I was born in Ourense (Galicia)

In Ourense I spent my childhood. I used to play football ⚽ and doing kung-fu 🥋 in my free time. I went to the CEIP A Ponte school and to the IES Eduardo Blanco Amor highschool.

Madrid, a new adventure

I move to Madrid at the age of 17 to start my studies in Telecommunications Engineering.

I coursed the BSc in Telecommunications Technologies and Services Engineering

I got my BSc in the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid

I got a scholarship for working in SENER Ingeniería y Construcción

In SENER I worked in the aerospace sector developing a system for managing data of measurement equipment and detection of failures.

I started to work for the GID (Grupo de Integración Digital)

In the group I carried out design solutions and full-stack development tasks focused on the digitalization of administrative and teaching processes at ETSIT-UPM. I am the main developer of ProgDoc, the service with which the teaching planning of all the degrees at ETSIT has been taught since 2018. I am also the main developer of Gestión Títulos, a system used for digitalizing the process of requesting official documents. I also acted as the manager of other projects as miHorario or Gestión de Trámites tools used for managing the teachers’ and students’ schedulers and for digitalizing university process respectively.

Since 2019 I have started to direct theses of university students of ETSIT-UPM.

I started to work for the GING (Grupo de Internet de Nueva Generación)

In the GING I participate in European projects focused in themes about digitalization such as YODA (Your Open Data) or A/RPORTWIN. Moreover I colaborate with FIWARE, developing processors for Draco Generic Enabler and I particiapte in some FIWARE Smart Data Model definitions. In turn, I carry out teaching activities, like the supervision of final degree projects.

I am coursing the PhD in Telematics Systems Engineering

I am coursing my PhD in the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

My research interests rely on the fields of Open Linked Data, Digital Twins, Big Data and Machine Learning.

Me and my collegues have published papers related to Digital Twins, Context Aware-Systems, and experiments of using Open-Source initiatives for reducing the gap between the Industry and the Academia. Within this contributions we propose reference architectures for developing smart solutions, combined with use cases that validate the performance of our proposals.

I started teaching some subjects

Since 2021 I have started to teach some subjects of courses imparted in the ETSIT-UPM. Concretely, I im involved in subjects of Degree and Master taught in Máster Universitario en Ingeniería de Telecomunicación, Máster Universitario en Ingeniería de Redes Y Servicios Telemáticos, Grado en Ingeniería de Tecnologías y Servicios de Telecomunicación, Grado en Ingneniería de Sistemas de Datos, Grado en Ingeniería Biomédica. Teaching is one of my passions as I love to transmit knowledge to future Engineers.

Family, friends, sport, series, and ... chess.

In my free time I like to enjoy my family and friends and do sports on a regular basis. Since I was five I have played football ⚽ in a federated team which has helped me to acquire healthy habits, discipline and to learn how to work as a team in both favorable and unfavorable situations. Since I was eighteen, I have practiced other sports at an amateur level (basketball, pingpong, paddle, athletics and swimming). I also love to play chess ♟️ and watching series, films 🎥, and listening to music 🎶. I consider myself a calm, sociable person who knows how to work in team 🙂✌️.
